You may soon be able to literally light up your tee shirts with a new ground breaking technology which has been developed by Japanese company Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) Co Ltd. DNP have developed a light emitting ink that can be printed on clothing such as tee shirts.
Using existing printing methods and equipment with the new DNP light emitting ink added can deliver light emitting designs and graphics of bright luminescence when a voltage of around 3 volts is applied and this voltage can be driven with a low voltage tiny battery. DNP intends to deliver commercial products over the next five years.
So who knows in a few years you may be able to literally light up the room with your latest t-shirt design !!
