Totino-Grace players celebrate.
More than jubilant family members and classmates were waiting Saturday at Moe’s Restaurant for the Totino-Grace girls’ basketball team.
The Eagles, winners of their first Class 3A state championship, were given commemorative T-shirts.
Coach Shannon Hartinger had a T-shirt printer watching the game, and when Totino-Grace’s 53-40 victory against DeLaSalle became official, production started.
“The shirts were still warm when they arrived,” Hartinger said. “I took one out and showed the girls, and they went crazy.”
